This special 2021 release is Westward’s second annual bottling selected by the distillery’s women partners and a team of women from around the drinks industry, with all of the proceeds being donated to Al Otro Lado and the Black Mamas Matter Alliance. Barrel #2 was available nationwide, while Barrel #1 was available exclusively in Oregon.

The nose has notes of fresh berries, red grapes, hints of peaches, apricots, caramel, honey, vanilla, and baking spices. The spices come alive on the palate along with fresh raspberries, apricots, and dried flowers for a luscious mouthfeel. The finish is long and buttery-smooth with dried fruits and lingering spices. Excellent! (March, 2021)
