Westland Solum 1st Edition

Westland Solum. Image courtesy Westland Distillery.

Country: USA

Region: Washington

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 50%

Score: 93 Points

This addition to Westland’s Outpost Range is unique in that it’s smoked with peat from Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. The nose has touches of apple cobbler, a hint of cinnamon, toasted oak, and vanilla. The taste has notes of sage, honey, vanilla, cinnamon coffee cake, and a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and subtle with a gentle smokiness. Very nice!
