The 2021 edition of Westland’s Garryana Oak-matured single malt has hints of pine and cedar on the nose, along with hints of peaches and dried fruits with a nice maltiness. The taste reminds me of pine sap and needles, cedar shavings, gentle spices, and dried fruits with a nice balance. The finish is long and spicy with a hint of pine. (October, 2021)
