ABV: 50%

This is Waterford’s flagship Irish single malt, blended from whiskies made from barley grown on 25 different Irish farms. The nose is slightly dusty and dry with notes of honey, vanilla, straw, and fresh berries. The taste is malty and vibrant with fresh berries and barley sugar at first, followed by a burst of citrusy tartness and a hint of spice that fades to reveal touches of vanilla, honey, and dried fruits for a nice, complex palate. The finish is long, subtle, and slightly dry with touches of fruit and vanilla pods. Very nice! (February, 2022)
