This distillery exclusive was created by Uncle Nearest master blender Victoria Eady-Butler, a descendant of Nathan “Nearest” Green, and is a 7-year-old blend of “straight from the barrel” whiskies. The strength will vary from batch to batch for that reason, and these notes are for Batch #1.

The nose is warm and aromatic with a nice oakiness, soft spices, honey, caramel candy, and a hint of pipe tobacco. The taste is fruity and tart with grilled pineapple, oak tannins, touches of cinnamon and allspice, and hints of honey and caramel in the background. Adding water opens up notes of red apples and peaches on the palate. The finish is long and well-balanced with lingering spices and a nice fruity character. Very nice! (June, 2021)
