Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 44%

Score: 95 Points

This 50-year-old Tomatin was released in 2022 to mark the distillery’s 125th anniversary, and comes from a single first-fill Oloroso Sherry cask. The nose has notes of melon, tropical fruits, dried flowers, and honey for a very subtle and complex aroma. The taste is fruity and vibrant with tropical and citrus fruits, a slightly herbaceous character, honey, vanilla, toasted oak, and just a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and refit with just a whiff of smoke and toasted oak. Outstanding! (October, 2022)
