ABV: 46.3%

Tobermory 12 Manzanilla Cask Finish. Image courtesy Distell. This was part of the Rarity Releases series from Tobermory, and was first matured in ex-Bourbon barrels  before a final maturation period in Manzanilla Sherry casks. The nose is creamy and fruity with touches of figs, dates, dried flowers, honey, and a hint of orange peel. The taste has a good balance of fruitiness and baking spices, with notes of figs, dates, apricots, orange peel, and subtle hints of clove, cinnamon, and allspice in the background. The finish is long, smooth, and fruity with lingering spices. Very nice. (December, 2019)
