Tobermory 12 Single Malt Scotch. Image courtesy Tobermory/Distell.This replaced the venerable Tobermory 10-year-old single malt in the distillery’s range, and is matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. The nose has notes of plums, peaches, orange marmalade, honey, and a subtle touch of flintiness. The taste is fruity with a hint of allspice that complements nicely touches of peaches, orange marmalade, pineapple, and ginger. The finish is long, fruity, and vibrant with a subtle tartness. Very nice! (January, 2020)
