This Macallan expression is matured in first-fill Sherry-seasoned hogshead casks, and the nose is slightly resinous and fruity with touches of citrus, green apples, toffee, and a hint of anise. The taste has notes of raisins, apples, and citrus fruits along with subtle hints of cinnamon and ginger. The finish is gentle and soft with toasted oak and butterscotch. (November, 2022)
