Country: Scotland

Region: Highland

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43.2%

Score: 95 Points

This 2021 release was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the legendary Jaguar E-Type coupe, and the 265 bottles represent the original E-Type’s 265 horsepower. It’s matured in a combination of Oloroso and Amontillado Sherry casks, and the nose has notes of almonds, cinnamon, caramel apples, toffee, and honey. The taste has a thick and oily mouthfeel with touches of honey, caramel apples, toffee, and a hint of wintergreen. The finish is long and gentle…like a purring E-type engine. (April, 2022)
