Image courtesy That Boutique-y Whisky Company/Atom Brands.This is the third Laphroaig release for That Boutique-y Whisky Company, and the nose is classic Laphroaig: peaty, phenolic, and medicinal with touches of heather and honey. The taste is smoky, tart, and peppery with grilled fruits, black pepper, and hints of caramel candies and honey. The finish has the expected lingering peatiness along with touches of honey and black pepper. (March, 2019)
