The Manchester edition’s nose is aromatic with woody notes of oak and cedar, freshly baked bread, soft spices, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla with good balance and complexity. The taste starts off with licorice and lemon zest, followed by a burst of lemon pepper and notes of earthy garden soil, cinnamon, green apples, coconut, vanilla, and hints of oak. The finish is long, spicy, and tart with cinnamon baked apples, hints of honey, brown sugar, and a soft oakiness. (October, 2014)
