Springbank 1999

Country: Scotland

Region: Campbeltown

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: The Whisky Exchange

ABV: 53%

Score: 83 Points

This single-cask bottling is part of the Single Malts of Scotland Series at The Whisky Exchange, and the nose has notes of dried fruits, ginger, a touch of brandy, and hints of honey and licorice. The taste is beefy, with pungent pipe tobacco and leather at first and a mouth-coating touch of cinnamon followed by a slight bitterness. The finish is slightly bitter and leathery.
