This Rye whiskey is finished in extra ańejo tequila barrels, and the nose is warm and inviting with a hint of agave, spearmint, honey, and green apples. The taste has baking spices along with a nice tartness from green apples and lemon zest, agave, honey, and a hint of baking chocolate. The finish is nice and long with baking spices that fade slowly along with hints of citrus and agave. (April, 2021)
