This rye whiskey from Sagamore Spirit’s Reserve Series is bottled at cask strength, and the nose has touches of baked apples, cherries, cinnamon, clove, candied orange slices, and smoked vanilla. The taste has a hint of nuttiness along with spicy touches of cinnamon and ginger root balanced by orange peel, vanilla, and toasted oak. The finish has lingering spices, hints of apples and cherries, and touches of molasses and oak.
