Country: USA

Region: Kentucky

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 56.2%

Score: 94 Points

Jimmy and Eddie Russell selected barrels from the now-demolished Camp Nelson “C” rickhouse for the debut of the Russell’s Reserve Single Rickhouse series. The nose has touches of charred oak and campfire smoke, along with dried leaves, molasses, vanilla, and tobacco. The taste is spicy and intense with black pepper and clove balanced by molasses, vanilla, hints of campfire smoke, and tobacco. The finish is long and spicy with a hint of charred oak. Nice!
