This 24-year-old single grain whisky comes from the old Port Dundas distillery in Scotland, which closed its doors in 2010. The nose is fruity with notes of peaches, red apples, freshly-cut grass, and dried flowers. The taste is fruity and tart with peaches, apricots, red apples, and a touch of butterscotch along with subtle spices that build up slowly leading into the finish for a nice complexity. The finish is long with touches of baking spices, vanilla, and butterscotch. Excellent! (May, 2021)
