Old Forester Single Barrel Rye. Image courtesy Old Forester/Brown-Forman.This is a barrel-proof and intense Rye, with a nose full of baking spices, dark chocolate, honey, a touch of pipe tobacco, leather, oak, and touches of dried fruits in the background. The taste is spicy and powerful with clove, cinnamon, and a hint of black pepper that fade gradually to reveal touches of dried fruits, honey, and pipe tobacco. The finish is long and spicy with a hint of oak. (June, 2021)
