Not to be confused with the Millstone Dutch Rye whiskies from Zuidam Distillers in The Netherlands, this 2-year-old Straight Rye comes from Philadelphia’s New Liberty Distillery and is made with malted rye. The nose has subtle spices, hints of dill and garden herbs, honey, and vanilla. The taste has a nice balance of baking spices, garden herbs, and touches of rye bread, honey, and oak. The finish is long and dry with lingering spices. (July, 2021)
