Nant White Oak Single Malt Whisky. Image courtesy Nant Distillery. This Tasmanian single malt was matured for 40 months in a charred Virgin Oak quarter cask, and the nose has notes of campfire ashes, vanilla, honey, dried flowers, and a hint of ginger. The taste is oily with a thick mouthfeel and a lemon pepper spiciness balanced by honey, vanilla, dried flowers, garden herbs, and a hint of campfire wood. The finish is long with a touch of lemon pepper and hints of herbs, dried flowers, and honey. (August, 2019)
