The 2022 edition uses a blend of Midleton’s grain and single pot still whiskies matured for between 12 and 33 years. The nose has touches of mandarin oranges, red apples, subtle spices, and hints of hazelnut and milk chocolate. The taste has pot still spices with hints of clove, allspice, and white pepper balance by toasted vanilla, honey, mandarin oranges, red apples, and hints of caramel and ginger in the background. The finish is long, complex, and well-balanced. (March, 2022)
