Masterson's Wheat Whiskey. Image courtesy 35 Maple Street. This is a rarity…a 100% wheat whisky from Canada, but with a malty nose and hints of ginger, roasted nutes, nutmeg, and caramel candy. The taste is spicy with notes of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, a hint of honey, and a slight tartness. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of black tea with lemon. (December, 2013)
