This Kingsbarns single malt was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels and STR (shaved, toasted, and recharred) wine casks. The nose is fruity and floral with a nice maltiness and touches of honey, vanilla, peaches, and pears. The taste is fruity and sweet with peaches, pears, barley sugar, and a touch of honey. The finish is long with a fruity tartness and hints of barley sugar and honey.
