Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Irish Whiskey

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 40%

Score: 89 Points

Unlike most Irish whiskies, Kilbeggan Traditional is double-distilled instead of triple-distilled. The nose is light and crisp with hints of citrus, honey, dried flowers, ginger, and caramel candy. The taste has hints of baking spices along with crystallized ginger, honey, citrus fruits, dried flowers, and straw. The finish is long with a nice sweetness and a gentle touch of spice. (March, 2021)
