Hockey Hall of Famer Larry Robinson has his name etched on the Stanley Cup 10 times, six as a player, three as a coach, and once as a front-office executive. The whisky he helped create for the NHL Alumni Series is made with two grains (corn and rye) to reflect his dual roles, while it’s aged for six years in six different types of barrels including Rum and Port Wine casks.

The nose has good grainy touches of rye bread balanced by caramel candy, honey, and a hint of linseed oil. The taste has a good balance of honey, anise, and allspice notes with a touch of linseed oil in the background. The finish is nice and long with a touch of anise. Excellent! (June, 2021)
