Country: USA

Region: Missouri

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 50%

Score: 91 Points

This 6-year-old Bottled-in-Bond Missouri Bourbon from Holladay Distillery swaps soft red wheat for the rye as the flavoring grain, and the nose is warm and aromatic with touches of honey, butterscotch, a hint of chocolate fudge, vanilla, and soft oak. The taste is mouth-coating and fruity with apples, peaches, cinnamon, white pepper, honey, and a hint of cocoa powder in the background. The finish is long and gentle with a hint of spice. (May, 2023)
