Hepburn's Choice Blair Athol 11 Year Old Highland Single Malt. Image courtesy Hunter Laing & Co. This single cask from Blair Athol is bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. (Langside Distillers), and was filled into a refill hogshead cask in 2002. The nose is light with lemon-lime citrus notes, straw, ginger, and a slight nuttiness. The taste has notes of lemon furniture polish, lime zest, linseed oil, and hints of honey, vanilla, and ginger. The finish is long, dry, and tart. (January, 2015)
