Hepburn's Choice Balmenach 12 Single Malt. Image courtesy Hunter Laing & Co. Bottled by Hunter Laing and Company, this Balmenach was distilled in 2001 and matured in a refill hogshead cask. The nose has lemon-lime tartness and hints of ginger and coconut. The taste is tart and citrusy, with notes of ginger, lime, lemon zest, and a touch of maltiness. The finish is dry, tart, and short.
