This debut release from Hemingway Whiskies was finished in Rum-seasoned Oloroso Sherry casks, and the complexity shows on the nose with touches of baking spices, molasses, brown sugar, and a slight hint of spearmint. The taste has notes of clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg spices balanced by molasses, brown sugar, and a hint of toffee, with the spices building up on the long finish along with dried fruits.
