Hart Brothers Linkwood 22 Years Old. Image courtesy Hart Brothers. This single cask bottling was distilled in June of 1990 and bottled in September, 2012 after 22 years in an ex-Sherry cask. The nose is aromatic with a nice oakiness, a hint of malt, honey, and Christmas cake. The taste is spicy with white pepper, clove, ginger root, and nutmeg complemented by brown sugar with a nice complexity and balance. The finish is dry, slightly tart, and long. (November, 2015)
