Hard Truth’s sweet mash rye comes from a mashbill of 94% rye and 6% malted barley, and the nose has a great balance of baking spices, tobacco, molasses, and hints of maple syrup and butterscotch. The taste has notes of fresh fruits, blackberry jam, baking spices, black pepper, and hints of vanilla and oak. The finish is medium-length with lingering spices and dried fruits. Very nice!
