Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail

ABV: 43.9%

Score: 96 Points

This rare single malt was matured in a refill American Oak hogshead cask before it was bottled in 2021, and the nose has the traditional Glenlivet fruity and floral character with a slightly dark character of plums, figs, and dark honey complemented by dried flowers and a touch of straw. The taste is fruity with orange marmalade and touches of black tea, allspice, figs, and plums. The long finish has a soft, fruity character with just a hint of spice. Outstanding! (September, 2021)
