Photo ©2020, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media. This 19-year-old four-grain Canadian Whisky is part of Corby’s Northern Border Collection special releases for 2019, and uses red winter wheat in the mashbill. The nose is warm and inviting with a light touch of baking spices, wheat bread, honey, and a soft oakiness. The taste has a gentle spiciness with a good balance of honey and caramel underneath delicate hints of white pepper and clove that linger through the finish along with a soft oakiness. Excellent!
