Nine U.S. craft distillers contributed to this charity bottling, and the result is a whisky with a malty nose that has touches of honey, vanilla, straw, and a hint of butterscotch. The nose is spicy with notes of chili powder and black pepper that fade to reveal hints of cedar, honey, barley sugar, and a hint of licorice. The finish is long, consistent, and well-balanced.
