Glenglassaugh Master Distiller’s Edition 28

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 49.8%

Score: 88 Points

The nose is full of dark chocolate fudge, ginger, and hints of allspice, almond, dried fruits and toasted oak — almost like a spiced rum. The taste is thick, oily, and syrupy at first with cinnamon and allspice notes that build quickly and fade slowly to reveal a fudge sweetness that lasts through the short finish.
