Image courtesy Glenfiddich/William Grant & Sons. This may well be the first Scotch Whisky to be finished in Canadian Icewine casks, and the idea came from Glenfiddich’s Canadian brand ambassador, Beth Havers, who suggested it to Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman. He settled on using the casks to finish a 21-year-old Glenfiddich single malt.

The nose is fresh and fruity with a crisp lemon zest, vanilla, and a hint of banana. The taste is tart and citrusy with lemon pepper, vanilla custard, and honey. The finish is long, dry, and tart. Very nice! (September 2017)
