Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 58%

Score: 93 Points

This single malt was matured for 14 years in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask, and the nose is dry and nutty with touches of roasted almonds and cashews, subtle touches of baking spices, dried fruits, and a hint of honey. The taste has a thick, dry texture with hints of clove, cinnamon, ginger, and spearmint complemented by cherries, raisins, blackberries, and a touch of baking chocolate. Adding a few drops of water emphasizes the fruity notes and the spearmint. The finish is long, subtle, and complex. (March, 2021)
