This whisky was matured in a Pinot Noir cask from the nearby Sinapius winery, and the nose is fruity and vibrant with touches of raspberries, plums, red apples, and subtle spices. The taste is thick and chewy with raspberry jam, baking spices, and hints of earthy garden herbs and soil in the background. The finish is long and fruity. Excellent! (April, 2022)
