Image courtesy Buffalo Trace.This year’s version of the Eagle Rare 17 has a smooth, subtle nose with a good oakiness, vanilla, cocoa beans, and hints of leather and tobacco. The taste is spicy wth cinnamon, molasses, raisins, baked apples, vanilla, and dark chocolate. The finish is short, dry, and fades away quickly. (December, 2015)
