Type: Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

ABV: 43%

Score: 90 Points

This single pot still Irish Whiskey comes from The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, Ireland, and is made with a mashbill of malted barley, unmalted barley, and oats before being matured in ex-Pinot Noir wine casks. The nose has touches of fresh berries, red grapes, a hint of toasted oak, and butterscotch. The taste is fruity and floral with notes of raspberry jam, dried flowers, honey, butterscotch, and subtle spices leading into the finish, which is long with touches of raspberry jam and oak.
