One of the few independent bottlings of Strathmill, which is used almost exclusively for blending purposes. This comes from a single refill hogshead cask, and the nose is malty with dried grass and lemon zest. The taste is thick, oily, and peppery with lemon zest, dried flowers, vanilla, and barley sugar. The finish is long with lingering lemony tartness and a hint of spice.
