Dewar's 15 "The Monarch." Image courtesy John Dewar & Sons. This 15-year-old Blended Scotch serves as a reminder of just how complex and well-rounded a good blend can be. The nose has notes of honey, butterscotch, toffee, dried fruits, and subtle hints of vanilla and baking spices. The taste starts off creamy and smooth with honey, butterscotch, and a hint of coconut followed by a nice buildup of baking spices and citrus fruits that complement each other well. The spices gradually fade away through the finish, leaving touches of coconut and dried flowers. Excellent! (January, 2019)
