This organic whisky from France’s Domaine des Hautes Glaces is 100% malted Rye matured for four years in a single French Sherry-style wine cask and bottled at cask strength. The nose is rich and smooth with a clear gold color, soft spicy notes of black pepper and clove, and a hint of licorice. The taste is spicy, thick, and assertive with clove and black pepper notes that last and last with hints of lemon and lime citrus underneath. The finish is dry with softly fading spices.
