After more than four years of waiting, this is the first distillery release of Castle & Key’s Bourbon. The nose has notes of orange peel, raisin bread, apricot jam, and hints of honey and nutmeg. The taste has an excellent balance of baking spices with hints of caramel, honey, vanilla, and roasted almonds. The finish is nice and long with lingering spices. Very nice. (March, 2022)
