Bunnahabhain Pedro Ximénez Finish. Image courtesy Bunnahabhain/Distell.This Islay single malt has a complex nose full of toffee, dried oranges, apricots, almond oil, milk chocolate, and a nice maltiness. The sherry influence is clear on the taste with notes of raisins, figs, plums, sultanas, toffee, and a hint of cocoa beans. The finish is long with subtle baking spices, toffee, and a hint of dark chocolate. Excellent! (March, 2019)
