The nose has hints of seaweed, red apples, dried leaves, and subtle hints of citrus and rosemary. The taste starts off sweet, then turns sharp with black pepper and a hint of chili powder. The spices fade to reveal touches of campfire smoke, caramel apples, dark chocolate, and anise. The finish is long and well-balanced with hints of barley sugar, lingering black pepper and chili powder spices, red apples, and a soft oakiness. Excellent! (October, 2017)
