This 22-year-old whisky is a collaboration between Bowmore master blender Ron Welsh and Aston Martin chief creative officer Marek Reichman, and is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso Sherry casks before being finished in Tawny Port casks. The nose has a great balance of subtle smoke, honey, heather, and dried fruits. The taste is thick with a syrupy mouthfeel, cinnamon and white pepper spices, honey, heather, and dried fruits. The finish is long and spicy. Excellent! (November, 2022)
