BenRiach The Smoky Twelve. Image courtesy BenRiach/Brown-Forman. This whisky is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and Marsala wine casks. The nose has notes of baked orange peel, almond oil, charred oak, and vanilla. The taste has a nice tartness with grilled pineapple and a good smokiness as well, along with hints of cocoa beans and brown sugar. The finish is long and well-balanced with a kiss of smoke.
