This Canadian whisky is infused with Matsutake mushrooms, and the result is an earthy whisky with a nose of garden soil, toasted oak, subtle spices, and pine resin. The taste is resinous and thick with a good earthy character and hints of lemon zest, white pepper, cardamom, toasted oak, and honey. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of pine and lemon oil. (August, 2022)
