Bearface Canadian Whisky. Image courtesy Bearface Spirits/Marc Anthony Wines & Spirits. This is a 7-year-old Canadian whisky sourced from several distilleries and blended together, with maturation in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels along with French Oak ex-Bordeaux and virgin Hungarian Oak casks. The nose has notes of linseed oil and a nice woody balance of sandalwood, cedar, and pine notes. The taste has touches of pine nuts, clove, cardamom, and white pepper complemented by hints of honey, vanilla, and caramel for a nice balance and complexity. The spices last and last on the finish.
